The Armed Forces Law Association of New Zealand in conjunction with the School of Law, University of Canterbury, New Zealand will be holding the 2008 conference at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, over the period 4 - 6 April 2008.  The call for papers is here. 

AFLANZ Memorial Prize

AFLANZ has established an annual prize valued at $1,000.00 for New Zealand barristers and solicitors and students studying law at a New Zealand university.  The prize is awarded in memory of the enormous contributions made to New Zealand military law by the late Captain E.D.
